Barbara and I have been with Samaritan Ministries since 2001. Samaritan Ministries is just that; a ministry, not a “medical insurance plan.” Samaritan is a Christian based ministry that shares the medical needs of Christians through other Christians. The cost is around $95 to $250 a month. While not an insurance policy per se, your medical bills are paid in about 90 days instead of upwards to18 months. (hospitals and other service providers like that) I was skeptical at first but I was also unable to afford $650+ a month for "regular health insurance."
