Hello

I just finished a new arrangement on "what a difference a day made". It's currently getting cold here in the Netherlands so that must be the reason for this darker outcome (instead of what the lyrics indicate)  Wink

Here you'll find the result:

I wrote the arrangement in Sibelius. Then imported in Logic Studio to do the final touch concerning tempos, dynamics, balance etc. The orchestral sounds are from the Vienna Symphonic Library.

All comments are welcome of course.

Um grand abraço,

I thought you hated slow numbers and long tones - sounds like you've changed your tune!

No change! I still hate slow stuff!
Read it again. I said like his soundWink
(and of course the places where he "gets busy")

To be fair, I should also mention that I hate playing slow stuff. Listening to someone else do it on the other hand, ain't all that objectionable. I personally get bored playing slow stuff, cause it doesn't hold my interest. (you know, my ADHD and all  Grin)

The intro to What A Difference, now got a composition on it's own and is called "Prelude to a Rainbow". Which is completely based on the What A Difference harmony (actually one whole chorus). You still can listen to this on my MySpace site at:

Thanks as allways for listening and responding to my music.

Abraços,

Wim

Wm, thanks for the videos.  You are an inspiration.  Just watched Motovic Soloing - and others.  I don't read, so I appreciate that you can play well and understand what you are playing.  I love the Latin rhythms and aspire to improvise with them.  You do that so effortlessly.  Thanks.

Pretty Cool! I just turned up my big speakers, went and got myself a bowl of soup and dined with some cool dinner music!
Very nice stuff!
Thanx!
