To whom it may concern, (hi, hi, hi, it meant you, A.J.)

I've noticed that there are some songs submitted with back-ground music (accompanyment) and with the length beyond limited-1-minute rule.

I'm just wondering if you have changed the written rule recently.

Yes.  I musta bent under the pressure of all these Sliders, beating up on me. Cheesy  Besides, I could see the point (in some cases) for the use of backup music. So, while I still prefer it without trax, yes, you can use backup music.

How about the length?  You will no longer cut off at the one minute mark?

I think it's still a minute. Unless Gabe changed it. I'll get in there and check some time before the end of the day

I have no problem with pieces being ignored if they don't comply.  It isn't my site after all and rules are rules.  Sorry if it caused a problem.

Okay, I checked. Turns out it's just a limit I set for bandwidth sake. (If you do go over, it's not going to stop you.)

...... Sorry if it caused a problem.

Hello Electric Slide,

I don't know who submitted what but judging from your message, I guessed that your submission was one of those that went over one minute.  Wink Well, if this is the case, you have nothing to be sorry about. Thanks to you, now I can submit a longer song  Cheesy

Here's a new "Rule" (suggestion actually)
If you submit a sound file, send it "receipt requested"  just in case we don't get it on this end. So far, we've never rejected any sound file. AFAIK
