Very nice! Wish I could have been there for El Choclo. I bet it was even better live.

Thanks, Roady,
El Choclo's great.  I see that you chose E minor for the key.  Was that to accommodate the strings or is it the original published key?  I'm used to it in C minor.

The concert took place in a museum of music machines and you can see in the backround parts of an orchestrion and a Welte organ, which was build for the Britannia (sister ship of the Titanic). On one of the machines (a wonderfull "Violina") was El Choclo in E minor and our idea was to give a "live" version for the audience. The original piano version by Villoldo was presumably in D minor...

"The Man With The Harmonica" was a important step for me. I always wished to perform the soundtrack of "Once Upon A Time In The West" and now a dream came true. Pity that the audio recording was very difficult (to much noise) and the result is not as good as I hoped.

Although the harmonica part only consists of three notes (repeated all over), "The Man With Harmonica" is maybe the best known piece for our instrument in the whole world. It is a real masterpiece!

On my augmented tuned MK it is a pleasure to perform the original sound effect as authentic as in the movie (E and D# often have to be played at once for an instant). The piece starts with solo harmonica, the orchestra joins in after a few bars. In the middle consists the other famous melodies of the film. The medley ends with the harmonica melody a third higher than in the original, so I had to retune a harmonica to make the effect possible. I took an old 260, put a XB40 mouthpiece on and retuned some reeds. (For this video only the beginning of the medley was taken)

You represent the chromatic harmonica player as a true professional musician.
