JazzDrummer:
Greetings, Folks!

My name is CJ and I'm new here.

I travel for work (software consultant) and want to study intervals and develop my ear while in my hotel room.  I couldn't fit a keyboard in my checked or carry-on luggage (cheaply), so I decided to find something a bit more portable.  I read music and have a basic music theory understanding.  I just wanted something I could use to work on scales, arpeggios and intervals and to further develop my ear and knowledge of theory.

I ended up with a CX12.  I'm lovin' it.  Best thing I've done in years.  I'm now looking for my next harp.

I'm very appreciative of the community I've found here.  The information is great and the support is wonderful!

Thanks so much!

John Broecker:
Hello, Jazz Drummer.

Welcome to Slidemeister.

You have many new harmonica friends here.

Including me. I'm also a drummer-percussionist, playing all known styles and percussion instruments professionally.

I play all types of harmonicas (as an amateur) except the Hohner Harmonetta, an antique button harmonica not made today.

Best regards

John Broecker
