A.J.Fedor:
Again, if you suck with one method and rock with the other; go with the one that lets you "rock!"

vcleynes:
I do pucker but is trying to learn tongue block, because I ran into a CBH instruction book which peescribes tongue block, most likely the method used by the teacher/expert.  But I find it hard to use consistently, especially in a succession of abrupt movements.  I'll continue to use pucker for playing but would love  to learn tongue block, which, according to the book, offers more options in notes manipulation.

Bibab:
Finally back to playing the chromatic after a 2 week layoff (I had injured my mouth while playing sport), I noticed today that draw hole 3  (on my 12 hole orchestra) is very stiff. I can barely get a sound out of it, and it chokes if I draw too hard. It is noticeably different to the other holds. Is this normal? Or has mine gone defective?

Bibab:
And draw hole 4 is not much better.
