Snow Mountain Lion for Mac
« on: February 15, 2012, 11:49:54 PM »
Anyone running Snow Lepard? If so, how does it compare with the previous versions?  Is it worth upgrading?

Snow Leopard is fine.
I am running Lion and am happy  with it.
Mountain Lion is not scheduled to come out until later this year.

Does Snow Lepard have the "new improved" window sizing?

No, that's on Lion.

So I guess I'll write Snow Lepard off as useless and jump to Lion.!  8)

I think in order to load Mt. Lion you have be running Snow Leopard. You can't skip.

If that's the case, it ain't worth it for me. All I use the Mac for is Garagebang and occasional surfing. The window sizing thing is too much of an aggravation for me to entertain the idea of ever switching to Mac. I have dual monitors on both my PCs, and move stuff all over two desktops when I work. Maybe if I find a big box of money in a wall of my house, I'll get a new Mac with Lion installed.  :P
