Slidemeister (Chromatic & related only - no Diatonic discussion) > Visitors & Newbees Stop Here First!

Hi all

(1/7) > >>

tfaux:
Hello all!  New member here, and new player, from the Illinois heartland.  I've been a music teacher for most of my 53 years, but am new to the chromatic harmonica.  After a lifetime of thinking about it, I'm newly armed with a brand spanking new Hohner 270 and am working my way up the chromatic scale, with the help of Mel Bay.  Looking forward to being part of this good forum.

Big SlideMeister welcome to you! Great to have you with us.

FOUR Toms?? (me, Stryker, Bluesy and now you) Is that some sort of record for first names here, Age? Keeping us straight is gonna be fun. And tfaux and I are/were music educators (me in a previous life, in Michigan [Go, Blue!] and Vermont).

Welcome aboard!

Tom (aka Grizzly) Baehr (get it?) :P

We might have  to assign you'all numbers if it starts getting confusing.  ;)

Thanks for the kind welcomes.
Let's just simplify things and call everyone on the forum Tom.

Grizzly Tom, we have even more in common.  I transplanted to the mid-west about 10 years ago from northern New England.  In my case, Maine.

honk,
Tom
