Tommy Reilly
« on: November 30, 2011, 10:47:01 PM »
In another thread people wrote about musicianship and flamboyance of various people. Try this one
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QddZ438biEk&feature=related
It's sad tha the quality is not better. Frankly, I saw the piano, but thought I heard a distorted orchestra.    Anyhow, watch and listen to Tommy Reilly.

Elsewhere, people also commented that it's very hard to make a living as a music performer. I know a magician who has fine stage presence and ability. He's only about  21 years old and knocks my socks off. He said that even the best magician in town (Houston) keeps another job. I guess the movies and television are going to kill off vaudeville yet.

Hey, did you go watch and hear Reilly?

Oops. I just found this:

Very interesting music lesson given by Tommy Reilly.
Then this youtube video leads to other things.
I gotta quit and get back to work.

wow.. thx so much... these videos indeed are very rare.. .. here we can see another side of Tommy Reilly, . .. play in wild, pushing his silver reed chrome to maximum.. .. unlike his recording. .all the hight pitch tone has been tamed to minimum.
