Philharmonica You Tube

FYI- The Philharmonicas You Tube channel has some very nice playing on it. It is definitely worth subscribing to this even if you aren't in the market for one of their instruments. I really enjoyed the music played there.

I'm pretty sure the songs there are all played by Phil himself - (at least the ones on the introductory DVD were) the inventor of this spectacular and brilliantly innovative chromatic. I can't wait to see it again at Spah 2017! Playing along in their circle with Tony and Phil Sardo is one of my main pleasures in life.

I've found two videos on youtube which were very demonstrative for me. Maybe you already have seen it. Hope it's useful for someone.

Exciting surprise on TV last week. As we all watched the benefit for hurricane relief, Stevie Wonder is knocking out a gospel revival of "Lean On Me". When it came time for Stevie's signature harmonica solo, he reached over and grabbed his brand new, custom-made Psardo Chromatic 64 "Goldbar"!

We at Philharmonicas wish all those affected by the storms the best of luck and hopes everyone does what they can to help out, but we can't help feeling proud and pleased at the appearance of our pride and joy.

Fantastic! You couldn't get better public relations than that!!

Garooovy harps to be sure....

Folks:

I needed to save this comment from the kettleunwell- especially in view of his rant against the Psardo posted elsewhere here, and now all over
youtube and social media, and his new intent to attach himself to Seydel.  ::)

So here you go --when he was still trying to suck up to Phil and his gorgeous and brilliantly innovative chromatic. Remember--conmen and grifters
don't change their spots!

I guess we may as well watch it! Harmonica from 1'51", but slightly drowned out by the general kerfuffle.

Thanks --I enjoyed seeing it again. I think it was already posted here - somewhere, but it's always good to see Stevie play (and I quite enjoyed the 'kerfuffle' as well).  ;)

I noticed too that Phil's grandson posted a comment on the video but didn't elaborate as he might have done about the GoldBar.

While I enjoyed that, I wish I could have heard Stevie's playing a little better.
To me, it was drowned out by the singing.
I just don't understand why Stevie doesn't use the WLS from DK...?...
Surely it would improve his playing immensely.  :o   ::)   :-X
