CHROMATIC WEEKEND - SOLIHULL SCHOOL MUSIC DEPARTMENT, BIRMINGHAM, UK - JUNE 9TH AND 10TH.

HI ALL CHROMATIC PLAYERS - - AND THOSE WHO WOULD LIKE TO BE !

We still have some places remaining for this years Chromatic Weekend.
This is a course for beginners, modest or advanced players.
This year we have included an evening concert and will be sending out study music - nothing too difficult - together with a play-along CD, so that time is not wasted.
There is a superb line-up of top class tutors, including Julian Jackson, Chris Collis, Carol and Lee Axford, Barbara Tate and Colin Mort, supported by Gerry Ezard.
For more details & to book complete the form from the website:
http://www.harmonica.co.uk/chromWeekend.htm

Don't leave it too long, we had to close the books last year !

Hi Pete
You wouldn't get much from the material without attending the course.   Much of it is duets and trios etc., and it's purely for information played on a synthethiser.   The real stuff is on the weekend.   Sounds as if you really need backing tracks.

:)The chromatic weekend in Birmingham was held in the music block of Solihulll School, a superb facility, and over 30 chromatic players attended.
The feedback forms were all very positive after a weekend of music tuition which included, playing, reading, interpretation, playing with accompanists and ensemble playing.   Five professional musicians, Barbara Tate, Carol Axford, Chris Collis, Julian Jackson, and Lee Axford tutored and were supported by Colin Mort and Gerry Ezard, and a Saturday night concert was held in addition to the days instruction.
More details are in the NHL magazine, and another weekend will be held in 2008, so watch this space and the nhl website at www.harmonica.co.uk.
