Title: Confused
Post by: pmelissakis on August 24, 2007, 06:00:03 PM
Gotta tell ya I was really confused Tuesday morning.

Monday night I couldn't sleep. Just kept tossing and turning
and trying to go to sleep.

I guess about an hour or so before the alarm went off
I did fall asleep, and had a very realistic dream that I
was awake in bed trying really hard to go to sleep.

Then the alarm went off and I woke up.  It was kind of
like coming back from some alternate reality.

Took a while to get my head together.

I usually know when I dream that I'm dreaming, so I can do anything I want in my dreams; like when the monster chases me, I just blow him some rasberries and make like SuperMan and fly away. Ha ha! The ones I hate is where I dream that I'm dreaming. That really messes up the whole movie.

My dreams are really vivid. They usually contain adverse situations. Note: I am NOT good with adversity.

Typical dreams: Gunfights I have been in
                       Helicopter accident I was in
                       Prison riot I was in
                       Diving accident I was in.

I can't get a break....... jo-jo

I did have a couple in my life that were so real, I couldn't tell they were dreams. Those were flat out scary! The kind where everything made sense and the vaguest hint that it might be a dream was vanquished when my "wakeup" mechanism malfunctioned. I've had times in my life when I felt helpless, but in dreams I always "rule." The couple dreams when I didn't were hard to take.

Oooooo now I scared meself!  ;D

Better get to bed too

Once, years ago, I dreamed I was shot by some people from a car
and could feel the bullet hole in my stomach. I was so happy when
the ambulance came. The paramedics took one look at me and
stated "don't bother taking him to the hospital, he's as good as dead"
and just left. I got up and was walking around with my hand
over the bullet hole, thinking if I didn't go to a doctor or say
anything to anybody I would be all right.

To this day I don't like to go to doctors.
